imbackIt’s been a long time since I’ve posted here. I’ve been very busy studying engineering, but I’m back now. My Crohn’s disease is still in complete remission, and I have been off all of my medications for about 22 months, and have been gluten and dairy free for 2 years! I’ve continued to work hard in the gym and have gained size and strength since I last posted here. I’m going to keep this post short, but there is much more on the way very soon. I have learned a lot, and I plan on sharing it here. Stay tuned!

spencer118 months, that’s how long my Crohn’s disease has been in complete remission. I have also been off of all my medications for 16 months. I am happy to say that I am continuing to get better, bigger, and stronger.

I am about to start a new chapter in my life. I am going to be living on campus at Florida Atlantic University. It may be challenging at first, but I am confident that I will  learn a lot, both academically and in other areas of life.

I have also changed up my workouts through experimentation and trial and error, and have been noticing improvements in my physique.

My advice to anyone who is currently having problems with their stomachs, as I was, is to try going gluten, dairy and soy free. I was once suffering through Crohn’s disease, for some reason believing that my only option was to keep trying medication after medication. The key is to treat the underlying cause of illness, not just mask the symptoms. I noticed improvements within one week, and never looked back. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired, so I decided to take my health into my own hands, and I haven’t looked back since.spencer2

Defying the Doctors

flexI have been off of all my medications for a full year now and my Crohn’s disease has been in remission for 14 months. I never would have believed that this was possible, but it is.

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Spencer, I am 18 years old. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at the age of five years old. I was told that I would have to suffer from this disease for the rest of my life, and, for a long time, I believed it. I took countless medications, from Pentasa to Remicade infusions, to try to control my Crohn’s disease, yet nothing worked. About three years ago I underwent major surgery to remove seventeen inches of my intestine. Even this didn’t work for long, and I was forced to take Humira, a very potent medication. While it did prevent me from needing a second surgery, my Crohn’s still flared up far too often.

Last February, 14 months ago, I decided to try something different. I realized that I had to address the underlying cause of the disease, not just attempt to cover up the symptoms. I went gluten and dairy free, and began taking several supplements. These supplements have been vital in helping me conquer my Crohn’s disease. My Crohn’s disease is now in complete remission, and I have been off of my medications for one full year. If someone had told me that my Crohn’s disease would be in remission and I would not be on any medications for an entire year, I would have said they’re crazy, but here I am today- symptom free and on no medications for a year.

One Year Gluten and Dairy Free

bicepsI have now been gluten and dairy free for one full year. Last February I decided to go gluten, dairy, and soy free due to my Crohn’s disease. I began to feel much better in a few days, and was able to stop taking all of my medicine after two months. It has now been one year since I have had any gluten, dairy, or soy. My Crohn’s disease is now in complete remission and have been off of all my medications for ten months. I can not say that it was not a challenge at first, but it was not long before I began to get the hang of things, and eating gluten and dairy free became second nature in no time. In the past year I have learned countless tricks and techniques that allow me to thrive on a gluten and dairy free diet. Eating gluten and dairy free can be difficult alone, but having Crohn’s disease presented me with an even greater challenge. There are several products that I take and several techniques that I employ every day that are crucial to my success. If you would like to know more about going gluten and dairy free, the products I take, and or the techniques and tricks I know, email me at:

How I Increased my Testosterone/Estrogen Ratio by 524% and HGH by 31%

Working out is only half of the battle, proper supplementation is just as vital to gaining muscle as going to the gym is is.

In March I began taking 4 supplements. These supplements are groundbreaking homeopathic sprays.

These sprays are Testrodol, Novadrol, and Energy Blast B12 (more info on Supplements I Take page)

In order to prove the effectiveness of these products I went to get lab tests, in the form of saliva and blood, before I began the sprays and three months after I started them. Here are the lab results:

Explanation of Lab Results:

Before: 84/4.1=20.48     After: 86/0.8=107.5     107.5/20.48=5.24=5.24x or 524% increase

Testosterone testing is often misleading, since most people only look for the number associated with testosterone to go up and ignore the other hormone levels. While testosterone levels are critical for anyone looking to gain muscle, the ratio of testosterone to estrogen, specifically testosterone (saliva) to estradiol (saliva), is even more important than just the testosterone level. Having high levels of estrogen can be just as detrimental as having low levels of testosterone. The reason for this is that testosterone and estrogen are opposites. Extra estrogen can lower testosterone output. Estrogen also misplaces testosterone in androgen receptors (rendering testosterone useless).

Think of testosterone and estrogen like a math equation. Testosterone is the numerator and estrogen is the denominator. The ultamite goal is to end up with the highest number (the testosterone to estrogen ratio). You can increase this number by increasing the numerator (testosterone) or decreasing the denominator (estrogen).  Since estrogen counteracts testosterone, having high levels of testosterone is useless if estrogen levels are equally high.

A good testosterone/estrogen ratio for a 20 year old male is in the 30-40 range, and a ratio of over 50 is great. My ratio was a terrible 20.48 before the sprays, and is now up to 107.5.

A 524% increase in the testosterone to estrogen ratio doesn’t happen by chance. These numbers do not fluctuate much. Once supplement I am taking is Testrodol. It is a spray that works to naturally increase your testosterone, increase your testosterone to estrogen ratio, and achieve optimal male hormone balance. It works by sending signals to open up the pathways that your body uses to produce testosterone. It is a natural homeopathic formula with no side effects and is FDA approved.

Before: 338     After: 441     441/338=1.31x or 31% increase

Human growth hormone has become increasingly popular for bodybuilders and professional athletes recently. This is due to the potent muscle building effects of IGF-1. It increases the synthesis of protein tissues (muscle recovery). This helps you recover faster from a workout as well as gain more muscle faster. HGH also promotes lean muscle mass, improves sleep quality,  helps strengthen bones, and gives you more energy.

My HGH increased by over 31%. This is due to the supplement I take, Novadrol. It is a spray that works to naturally increase human growth hormone and help you better use hgh. It works by sending signals to open up the pathways that your body used to produce human growth hormone. It is also a homeopathic formula with no side effects and is FDA approved.

27% DECREASE IN CORTISOL TO DHEA RATIO (lower is better in this case)

Before: 10.2/9.9=1.03     After: 8.1/10.7=0.75     27% decrease

Cortisol works in the opposite way of testosterone. When cortisol levels are high, men with normal levels of testosterone can show signs of low testosterone due to the fact that the two work in opposite ways. You still have testosterone, but it is useless. Simply put, you do not want cortisol.
DHEA works in the opposite way of cortisol (it helps testosterone). Having high levels of cortisol can lead to lowered levels of DHEA.

DHEA and ortisol are related to testosterone and estrogen. Testrodol brought down my cortisol and increased my DHEA, restoring optimal hormonal balance.

These supplements worked amazingly in increasing my testosterone/estrogen ratio and increasing my HGH. Not only was this supported by lab testing, but by how I look, feel, and perform.

Prior to starting these supplements, I took a plethora of other products to help me gain muscle (pre-workout, post-workout, beta-alinine, l-glutamine, creatine). When I began taking the sprays, I stopped taking all of the above mentioned products, and didn’t miss a beat. I immediately got bigger and stronger, and haven’t looked back. Before I started the sprays in March I was in decent shape. I’m bigger and stronger than I’ve ever been. I’m 5’10” 160lbs. I bench 190×10 and 215×5, maxing out at 250lbs (more than 1.5x my body weight), and squat 285×5, and can squat over 2x my body weight. More important than how much more I lift now is how much bigger I’ve gotten, and how much better I look. The spray supplements have helped me to lose fat and gain muscle. Not only have I been able to put on pounds of muscle, but I’ve also decreased my body fat, helping me look even bigger. These sprays are unlike anything else I’ve ever tried. They’re heads and shoulders above any other supplements I’ve used in how effective they are and what they’ve done for me.

If you have any questions, would like to know more about these sprays, or would like to purchase any of these products (I am one of the extremely few distributors of these products), e-mail me at:

Talia’s Tuscan Table

It can be difficult to find a restaurant that serves gluten free food, and it is even rarer to find a place that offers more gluten free menu items than just a burger without a bun. Talia’s Tuscan Table (4070 N Dixie Hwy, Boca Raton, FL 33431) served up the best gluten free pasta that I’ve ever had.

I ordered gluten free pasta with oil and garlic and snapper. The pasta was so good that I couldn’t even tell that it was gluten free. It was just crisp enough to give it good texture with the fish, and the oil and garlic helped give it a great flavor. It went very well with the delicious snapper that I had with it. Not only was the food great, the serving was also very large, even enough to fill me up, which is saying something.

The other people I was with ordered sandwiches, and they said that they were wonderful and huge, showing that Talia’s has something to offer for everyone.

It isn’t every day that I find a restaurant that serves gluten free pasta, and I have yet to find a restaurant that serves such delicious gluten free pasta. Unlike some other gluten free pasta I’ve had, this had great texture, flavor, and was not dry at all. I highly recommend that anyone looking for great gluten free food in Boca visit Talia’s Tuscan Table.

The Organic Kitchen Review

It can be extremely difficult to find a restaurant that offers quality gluten and dairy free menu options, but I have found an excellent option in The Organic Kitchen (1880 N. Congress Avenue, Suite 108, Boynton Beach, Fl, 33426). Not only does the Organic Kitchen have delicious gluten and dairy free meals, but everything on their menu is organic.

I started off with organic spicy curry chicken soup. It was delicious, and had a little kick to it, but was not so spicy that it would scare people away. I would definitely order the soup again, it was the best gluten and dairy free soup I’ve ever ordered, and it’s organic.

I also ordered a chicken bowl. The white rice was moist and delicious, and went very well with the chopped organic chicken breast, which was very flavorful. Not only was the chicken delicious, but it is organic (meaning that the chickens are not only hormone and antibiotic free, but are also fed only organic feed).

I also tried the organic hummus, which was very good.

My parents, who are not gluten and diary free, had the beef stuffed pepper bowl and the beef stuffed portabella bowl. They both said their meals were delicious, and they loved the great variety of toppings.

I met one of the owners of The Organic Kitchen, Jerry, who was extremely friendly and personable. It was obvious that he was very passionate about the restaurant and organic food.

The Organic Kitchen (1880 N. Congress Avenue, Suite 108, Boynton Beach, Fl, 33426) is a great place to enjoy a delicious organic meal, whether it is gluten and diary free or not. It’s nearly impossible to find a restaurant that has organic gluten and dairy free meals, and The Organic Kitchen has numerous tasty options. I highly recommend The Organic Kitchen and will definitely eat there again.
